These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Tagufi, including the Tagufi mobile application, website, directory, maps, features, and related services.
By using Tagufi, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use Tagufi.

1. About Tagufi
Tagufi is a community-powered discovery app that helps users find local places, businesses, services, community events, and community-relevant locations by city, community, and category.
Tagufi is not a replacement for Google Maps or other map services. It adds a community-relevance layer to help users discover places that may be meaningful to specific communities.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You may browse Tagufi without signing in where supported. Some features, such as submitting a place, may require Google Sign-In or another authentication method.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs through your account.
3. User submissions
Tagufi allows users to submit places, businesses, services, community events, and related information for review.
When you submit information, you confirm that:
- the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- you have the right to submit it;
- the submission does not violate any law, third-party right, privacy right, intellectual property right, or these Terms;
- the submission is not misleading, abusive, fraudulent, discriminatory, or harmful.
Submissions may be reviewed before publication. We may approve, reject, edit, remove, or reclassify submissions at our discretion.
Submitting a place does not guarantee that it will be published.
Event submissions
When you submit an event, you may provide details such as the event title, date and time, venue or address, description, and a source link or website. The same review process applies: event submissions may be reviewed, and we may approve, reject, edit, remove, reclassify, or decline to publish them at our discretion. Submitting an event does not guarantee that it will be published, and a published event may later be edited or removed.
4. Licence to submitted content
By submitting content to Tagufi, you grant Tagufi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, publish, modify, adapt, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating, improving, promoting, and maintaining Tagufi and its directory.
You retain any rights you may have in your submitted content, subject to the licence above.
5. Accuracy of listings
Tagufi aims to provide useful and relevant information, but we do not guarantee that any listing, address, phone number, website, opening status, category, community tag, description, event date, time, or venue, or map location is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your needs.
Users should verify important information directly with the business, organization, service provider, event organizer, or relevant third party before relying on it.
For community events, this is especially important: event dates, times, venues, schedules, and other details may change, and events may be postponed, cancelled, sold out, moved, or rescheduled after they are listed. Tagufi does not organize these events and does not guarantee an event's availability, accuracy, safety, or attendance. Always confirm event details with the official source or organizer before making plans or attending.
6. No endorsement
The presence of a place, business, service, organization, event, or link in Tagufi does not mean that Tagufi endorses, recommends, verifies, sponsors, or guarantees it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading, harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or illegal content;
- impersonate another person or organization;
- submit spam or automated submissions;
- interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of Tagufi;
- attempt to access systems, data, or accounts without authorization;
- scrape, copy, or reuse substantial parts of the directory without permission;
- use Tagufi for unlawful or harmful purposes.
8. Third-party services and links
Tagufi may include links or actions that open third-party services, including Google Maps, phone dialers, websites, browsers, or external booking/contact pages.
Those third-party services are not controlled by Tagufi and are subject to their own terms and policies. Tagufi is not responsible for third-party services, websites, availability, accuracy, content, transactions, or practices.
9. Changes to Tagufi
We may change, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of Tagufi at any time, including features, listings, communities, categories, cities, or access to the app.
10. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Tagufi if we believe a user has violated these Terms, abused the service, submitted harmful content, or created security, legal, or operational risk.
11. Intellectual property
Tagufi, including its name, branding, design, interface, and original content, is owned by or licensed to Tagufi and may not be copied or used without permission, except as allowed by law.
Third-party names, logos, trademarks, business information, and links remain the property of their respective owners.
12. Disclaimers
Tagufi is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that Tagufi will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tagufi and its owners, operators, contributors, partners, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or other losses arising from or related to your use of Tagufi.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tagufi and its owners, operators, contributors, partners, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Tagufi, your submissions, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Tagufi after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
