Why Tagufi exists
Finding the right restaurant, café, market, service, activity, or event is not always just about distance, ratings, or opening hours.
Sometimes people are looking for something more specific:

- What events are happening for my community?
- What should a visitor experience in this city?

General map applications are useful, but they are not designed around community context or curated local guidance. Tagufi adds that missing layer.

Powered by community contributions
Tagufi grows through the knowledge of the people who live in, visit, and understand each city.
Users can:
- suggest a missing Place;
- submit an Event;
- recommend a Place for a Guide;
- help improve existing local information.
Contributions are reviewed before publication so the information remains useful, accurate, and trustworthy.
Why the name Tagufi?
The name Tagufi was inspired by the feeling of longing and nostalgia — the quiet attachment people carry when they live between places, cultures, and communities.
Discovering a city is not only about finding what is nearby. It can also mean finding what feels familiar: a restaurant that reminds you of home, a market carrying ingredients you grew up with, a service provider who understands your language or background, or an event that brings people together.
That is the spirit behind Tagufi.
The name carries an emotional idea: the search for places that feel connected to who we are, where we come from, and the communities to which we belong.
What makes Tagufi different?
